Mesa Gonia, Episkopi Gonia, Kato Gonia all are names given to this small village. Besides the fact that most of the habitants moved to Kamari because of the strong earthquake of 1956, the village regain it strenght from the grapfic, a pictorial location at the foothills of the mountain, famous for the wine. With a historic Byzantine church of Panagia Episkopi where once both Orthodox and Latin priests share their faith and believe.
